Join Pease Park Conservancy to celebrate the 7th annual Roots & Wings at Austin’s first and oldest park!
Prairie and savanna ecosystems are important in Central Texas because they supply important food and shelter for pollinators like butterflies, bees, moths, birds, and bats. The understory trees found in these habitats offer important ecosystem services to humans and animals alike.

The Roots & Wings Festival is held from Wednesday, October 18, through Saturday, November 5, and is a community-wide celebration honoring Arbor Day and Monarch Appreciation Day in Austin. Join us in celebrating the Roots & Wings Festival on November 5th at the Pease Park Planting Party: A Roots & Wings Festival Event.

Join PPC's Conservation Team as we restore the trails and help protect them from erosion in celebration of National Trails Day!
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes you do not mind getting dirty. Pease Park Conservancy will provide all necessary tools and instruction. After we work on the trails join us for some refreshments and community building.
