Picnic Tables
The entire picnic table area consists of four long concrete tables with benches along each side. Each table is 50 feet long and is available for your next party or team gathering. Located directly southeast of the play scapes, swings, and interactive water feature, the picnic tables will provide you with a casual, comfortable setting for your family-friendly gathering. This space is almost fully shaded.

Costs to Reserve/Rent:
$40 for a four-hour period per (one) long row of tables that can hold 50 people
$250 for a four-hour period for all four long rows of tables that can hold 200 people
$800 corporate rate for a four-hour period for all four long rows of tables that can hold 200 people
There is no damage waiver on the picnic tables
There is no eligibility to receive a discount on Picnic Table(s) reservations

Security Fee: Security is required for events with 100+ attendees
No deposit required for a picnic table reservation, but payment of rental fee is required to confirm reservation
Availability WITHOUT RESERVATION:
If a picnic table is not reserved, it is available to the public on a first come first serve basis. Reservations are shown in the sign at the front of the picnic table area. Please check this sign before settling at a picnic table if you do not have a reservation.

200 people for the entire picnic table area

The picnic tables are the most widely used amenity space by the public.
Picnic table reservations were offered at $65 per reservation prior to the revitalization of Kingsbury Commons. The Conservancy has reduced that rate to ensure that more members of the general public have access to renting them.
PICNIC TABLE RULES
Other park visitors will have reserved tables as well. If you run into a conflict, please calmly let others know that you have officially reserved your set of tables through Pease Park Conservancy.
Unless there is a burn ban, the grills take charcoal briquettes and they work great. Feel free to use them and please confirm they are completely out before you leave. Outside grills, pits, etc. are not allowed at the park.
You MUST carry out your trash and recycling. We don't have the capacity to take on the amount of trash humans are producing at birthday parties. So to the best of your ability, carry your trash home and dispose of it there. Or you can take your trash/recycling to our dumpsters located in the parking lot at Kingsbury Street & Parkway.
Absolutely NO: confetti, silly string, glass (including decor), paint (even if water based), water balloons, firecrackers and fireworks.
Per city ordinance, Petting zoos are not allowed on park grounds.
Alcohol MUST be canned and remain inside the perimeter of the picnic table area - you may not roam the park with alcohol.
Encourage guests to bring their own water bottles, as we have a cold water filling station in the common vanity of the bathrooms.
Please do not hang anything from the string lights and anything you hang needs to be removed and carried out.

If you are planning a gathering at the picnic tables, please reserve a table(s) in advance to ensure you will have it for your event. Without a reservation, any table that is not otherwise reserved by another party may be used on a first come first serve basis.
