Travis Audubon and Pease Park Conservancy are teaming up to bring birding to Pease Park!
Please note the location of this event has changed from Kingsbury Commmons to Live Oak Meadow (2208 Parkway).
Join Chris Gunter and Nicole Netherton for an afternoon of birding at Pease Park! During this time of day there can be flurries of bird activity as they search for a final meal before sunset.
Parking and Transportation:
We highly encourage alternative modes of transportation such as walking, biking, public transportation, carpooling, and rideshare if possible. There is a small parking lot at the front of the park (1100 Kingsbury Street) with 18 spots (2 reserved for accessible parking) and limited street parking in the area. Additional FREE parking can be found at the Austin Recreation Cewnter (1301 Shoal Creek Blvd.) 7-days a week. The Recreation Center ot is also a short 5-10 minutes walk to Pease Park via the Shoal Creek Trail.
