Spooktacular Volunteering in October

Weโ€™re officially eight days into fall, and we have a pumpkin patch's worth of volunteer and program events for you!

Now that the weather is โ€œcooling downโ€, do you find yourself wanting to spend more time outdoors? Weโ€™ve got you covered with newly added afternoon shifts of our iconic Garden Care Saturday volunteer events.

Peak monarch migration is just around the corner! This month, weโ€™re giving Texas pollinators extra support by installing new monarch waystations, and guess what?โ€” You can help! Register to join us for Waystation Workdays in Kingsbury Commons!

Thatโ€™s not all. Do you want to help collect citizen science, learn about moths, and celebrate the Texas Parks and Wildlife Pollinator BioBlitz? Join us for Mothing with Dr. Eckerman for a chance to help identify the moths of Pease Park and catalog them using iNaturalist.

Celebrate and Sustain Pease ParK

Pease Park was founded in 1875 with the donation of the first 23 acres by Governor Pease and his family. For generations, we have experienced its natural beauty and the storied history shaped by the people who have shared this space.

Now Pease Park Conservancy continues to restore and steward the park, working to honor its history while welcoming everyone to enjoy it.

Join us in celebrating Pease Parkโ€™s Sesquicentennial.
