10:00 Kids Yoga

Austin Youth Fitness introduces kids to the practice of yoga and meditation, and helps them add yoga into their daily routines to refresh, rejuvenate, and relax their bodies and their minds! Young athletes also learn that stretching is important to their other fitness endeavors, and mindfulness exercises are important to their mental health and “feeling good overall.” In AYF Yoga, our goal is to help kids grow strong in body, mind, and spirit!

10:45 Training for Young Ninjas with Kula Karate

Kula’s Young Ninjas develop physical strength and speed along with confidence, concentration, and emotional regulation, all while enjoying martial arts training. Our successful formula of self-discipline, hard work, and fun will inspire your child to set goals and persevere to reach them. Kula Karate strives to bring out your child’s highest potential in karate and in life.

11:30 Fit ‘n Fun Running Skills, Drills, and Games

In Austin Youth Fitness Fin n’ Fun Running, kids learn proper form and the “FUNdamentals” of pacing, strength, agility, speed, and endurance. AYF makes fitness fun with games and activities and a focus on PLAY!

12:15 Youth Biking, Intro to Cycling on Urban Trails

Biking is an important developmental skill, as well as a LIFE skill. In AYF biking, the goal is to help kids discover the JOY that biking brings, while learning biking safety, the “rules of the road,” and exploring new routes in their neighborhoods. AYF makes fitness fun and so does biking!

1:00 Beginner Biking, Learn to Ride

AYF Beginner Biking is for Pre-K to 3rd Graders who are just learning to ride a bike independently. Kids moving from training wheels and balance bikes will progress to pedaling on two wheels and master the basics of starting, stopping, and maneuvering, while having loads of fun learning.

Need to borrow a bike?
AYF is pleased to partner with Woom Bikes to offer demo bikes at the Fall Fitness Festival for those kids who come without a bike of their own. Email info@austinyouthfitness if you’d like to borrow a Woom bike.
