This week, we are bringing you a special bonus episode of our Interpretive Plan Video Series. We got a chance to talk shop with Austin Parks and Recreation Department’s (PARD) very own Kim McKnight. Kim worked alongside Pease Park Conservancy on this project and shares the scoop on what makes an interpretive plan helpful for district parks like Pease Park, what the process was like and her favorite part of the Pease Park Interpretive Plan.

So much work went into this strategic document, so we are all thrilled to be at the point where we are beginning to implement some of the concrete recommendations. Kim speaks to this and how we are continuing to move through this process.
