Bring your furry friend to chase a ball and get all of its energy out in this off-leash dog area within Pease Park.

Please remember to pick up after your dog to protect our waterways and other park visitors’ shoes. Dogs may be off-leash between 24th Street and 29th Street. Outside of these areas, please have your dog on-leash.

Access to Gaston Green

You can access Gaston Green at Lamar Blvd. and Shoal Creek Blvd. where you will find a small parking lot and access to the trail system.

Currently, the regular southbound trail access in Gaston Green toward Wooten Woods is closed because of a landslide to ensure your safety.

However, a detour has been created to allow you to access the rest of the Shoal Creek trail system. Please follow the signs to the trail that runs along Lamar Blvd. or the temporary trail created by the City of Austin that allows you to travel south without walking right next to the road.
