Pease Park Conservancy welcomes The NET Project to Pease Park and thanks them for volunteering to help us improve the park. We will be spreading mulch over the gardens in the park to help protect the soil and the plant roots, prevent the spread of weeds, and add a layer of carbon to the soil.
Pease Park Conservancy welcomes Starbucks to Pease Park and thanks them for volunteering to help us improve the park. The work we will be doing will be revolving around weed and undesirable plant removal. The plants we will deal with include Johnsongrass, Ragweed, Nutsedge, and Hedge Parsley.

Pease Park Conservancy welcomes Women in Psychology to Pease Park and thanks them for their volunteerism. Today we will be mulching the gardens in Kingsbury Commons
We will be meeting at 1100 Kingsbury at the volunteer hub. This is the area north of the restrooms and beside the splash pad.
Gloves and tools will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own gloves if you want to. Please bring a water bottle as it will be hot.

Today we will be picking up litter that has found its self in the park. Picking up litter is very important because it will either sit in the park, making it less enjoyable to park-goers as well as pose a risk to the health of the wildlife or it will flow into Shoal Creek and eventually reach Town Lake.
Pease Park Conservancy welcomes Expedia Group to Pease Park and thanks them for volunteering to help us improve the park. The work we will be doing will be spreading mulch in the park's display garden. Mulch helps soil retain moisture, protects soil from the sun, and helps control the growth of weeds.
