Becoming the Wind: A Community Movement Workshop with Dance Waterloo

  • Tudor Cottage & Terrace 1100 Kingsbury Street Austin, TX 78703 United States (map)

Pease Park Conservancy is excited to partner with Morgan Teel of Dance Waterloo for a dance event at Pease Park! This event is free and open to the public.

Becoming the Wind: A Community Movement Workshop is a beginner-friendly outdoor workshop inspired by Joy Harjo’s poem “Running” from An American Sunrise. Through contemporary movement and guided improvisation, participants will explore freedom, resilience, transformation, and the ways our bodies respond to the natural environment.
