About Diverse Spaces Youth Dance Theater:

Every year Ms. Bravo creates choreography for Diverse Space Youth Dance Theatre, which she directs and provides training for. Each year’s work is based on a relevant topic, which provides the participants and their audience with an artistic and compelling view of the topic from different angles. Ms. Bravo does research on the topic and guides the youth in DSYDT into their own research. Sometimes scientific, sometimes psychological or philosophical, this research is the base for the movement vocabulary and the imagery presented on the stage. It also informs many a conversation and much of the instruction that Ms. Bravo provides to all her students.
