Bioblitz Bingo

  • Live Oak Meadow 2208 Parkway Austin, TX, 78703 United States (map)

Pease Park Conservancy is putting on a bioblitz just north of Live Oak Meadow! Join us for an opportunity to discover new species, help us collect biodiversity data, earn prizes and learn more about Pease Park through an interactive discovery lesson!

A bioblitz is a community-driven citizen-science effort that engages community members in recording the species within an area. Often times these events use iNaturalist, a free app that allows you to snap a picture of a plant or animal and obtain a quick identification. Learn more about this initiative here.

Please wear comfortable shoes, weather appropriate attire, and bring your own water.

If you are able to please bring a fully charged phone and download the free iNaturalist app and create a free account.

A note about Pease Park Conservancy's events:
If you sign up, please make every effort to show up. Our events are free so all of our community members can attend. But we plan our events to be meaningful for the number of people who register to be there, so please make every effort to attend if you have registered. We understand things come up from time to time, but If you have registered we look forward to having you there! Thank you!
