Join us for a concert series presented in partnership with Austin Soundwaves. This one’s going to be fun for the kids!
The day will start off with a performance by Austin Soundwaves teaching artists in the treehouse who will present a few musical selections interspersed with a discussion about the instruments and exploration of the music geared towards young audiences.
Then Bethony Harnden, Achieve Elementary’s music teacher, will perform original compositions that are age appropriate and interactive for young listeners.
Finally everyone will have a chance to try some band and orchestra instruments! We will also have small, hand percussion instruments available for very young children to try.
