Jill Nokes, a horticulturist specializing in native plants and an experienced conservation manager, will take us on a guided nature walk through the woodlands of Pease Park. She will share the stories of the unique geology of the space, the trees that live here, and the native plants that we are always encouraging to thrive. Jill’s perspective on the natural world is informed by her depth of knowledge of the local ecology and she will inspire you to look at your surroundings in a brand new way!
Please note: This tour will require a walk of about a half mile and some of this will be on uneven terrain.
Please meet at the amphitheater/outdoor plaza in Kingsbury Commons. This is the area between the restroom building and the storage building.
