The Richard Craig Sustainability Fund honors the work of Pease Park Conservancy’s founder by providing a stable and dependable source of revenue for the Conservancy’s operations. Richard Craig created the Conservancy (originally called “Trees for Pease”) in response to a decline in the ecological viability of Pease Park, and Richard’s work is largely responsible for reversing that decline. The Fund will provide an extra layer of security for Pease Park Conservancy to continue that work and fulfill its mission to restore, enhance and maintain this 84-acre green space for the sustainable use and enjoyment of all. The Fund provides a secure source of revenue that, along with the Pease Park Conservancy Endowment Fund and a strong prudent reserve, will help:
Maintain and sustain the park’s complex ecology,
Ensure that the Conservancy remains financially robust through shifts in the economic climate, and
Allow the Conservancy to plan for and seed future phases of implementation of the award-winning Pease Park Vision Plan
*Unless you indicate above that you would like to give anonymously, Mr. Craig will be notified that a gift was made by you in his honor.
