With stunning limestone bluffs, shaded trails and a rich cultural history, Pease Park makes Austin feel like Austin.
Pease Park Conservancy celebrates the diverse ecology and history that make Austin’s first public park valuable and unique. The Conservancy works to restore, enhance and maintain this 84-acre public green space for the sustainable use and enjoyment of all.
Upcoming Events
A note about Pease Park Conservancy’s events: If you sign up, please make every effort to show up. Our events are free so all community members can attend. We plan our events to be meaningful for the number of people who register to be there, so please make every effort to attend if you have registered. Thank you!
Join Austin Youth Fitness for a sample of their kids biking program! Bikers will become familiar with bicycle safety, learn the rules of the road, and will gain strength in their biking ability. For the Free Saturday event, participants will adventure from Pease Park down the Shoal Creek Trail approximately 1-2 miles, then back to the park for a fun finish! This is for experienced bikers ages 7 to 11, who can start, stop, and maneuver with control, and are comfortable going up and down hills. Participants will need their own bike and helmet.
Come stretch, breathe, move, dance, relax, create, and have FUN! These classes will include age-appropriate yoga and movement- including breathing, poses, games, stories, music, relaxation, meditation, and more.
Travis Audubon and Pease Park Conservancy are teaming up to bring birding to Pease Park!
Join Chris Gunter and Nicole Netherton for a morning of birding at Pease Park during the spring migration period!
