Volunteers Needed for National Trails Day in Pease Park

The Pease Park Conservancy is hosting a morning clean-up event from 9:00 a.m. to noon on National Trails Day in Pease Park. This year, this nationwide celebration of parkland trails will take place on Saturday, June 6.

Volunteers at Pease Park will clear debris, pick up trash, and repair mulched trails following the extensive recent rainfall in the park and along the Shoal Creek Greenbelt. The Conservancy will provide water and T-shirts to everyone donating their time to participate in this worthwhile event.

“We welcome everyone to turn out and pitch in to help maintain the beauty of our wonderful park and greenbelt on this special day,” said Andy Gill, the Conservancy’s Executive Director.
