Program Set for 7th Annual Celebration Celebrating Pease Park Conservancy

The Pease Park Conservancy’s seventh annual celebration benefitting the Conservancy is less than a week away!

Longtime Austin parks advocate Jill Nokes is scheduled to speak about the continued revitalization of Pease Park at the event. Also, the American Planning Association will present its 2015 Project Planning Award to the Conservancy and the Austin Parks and Recreation Department for their joint effort in creating the Master Plan, a conceptual blueprint for preserving and enhancing the natural, cultural, and recreational environment of both the Pease Park and the adjacent Shoal Creek Greenbelt.

The event will feature live music by Will DuPuy, food furnished by the Grove Wine Bar, and beverages provided by 512 Brewing. Attendees may participate in a silent auction for some tempting items and may also purchase bottled vino in a wine pull at the event.

The festivities will begin at 6:00 p. m., Thursday, October 22, 2015, at the Allan House, 1104 San Antonio St., Austin, Texas.

Tickets are $75.00 per person. They can be purchased either at the door or online at www.peasepark.org.
