  • Formed as an "Adopt-a-Park" group under the Austin Parks Foundation in 2008.
  • Installed irrigation system for turf and tree restoration
  • Funded new cedar shake shingle roof for the Tudor Cottage
  • Restored the historic CCC walls along Kingsbury
  • Restored all of the park's historic picnic tables
  • Planted over 3,200 native trees throughout park and Greenbelt
  • Organized and led over 150 volunteer days, culminating in over 27,500 volunteer service hours
  • Established a permanent financial endowment to fund future Park maintenance at the Austin Community Foundation
  • Awarded City of Austin Tree Champion in 2011 and Mayor's Individual Award for Environmental Awareness in 2010
  • Fully funded and developed the Pease Park Master Plan, passed unanimously by City Council on October 16, 2014
  • Named a Texas Recreation & Park Society "Lone Star Legacy Park" in 2015
  • Recipient of inaugural Shoal Creek Keystone Award in 2015
  • Recipient of APA Planning Award for Master Plan in 2016
  • Restoration of Janet Fish Wall near Gaston
  • Removal of countless invasive species
