Chief Executive Officer
Kristen Brown joined the Pease Park Conservancy as CEO in June 2017. A native Austinite, Kristen holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at Austin, as well as a Master of Public Affairs degree with a specialization in nonprofit and philanthropic studies from UT's LBJ School of Public Affairs. She has over 10 years of nonprofit fundraising and management experience, and serves on the board of directors of local nonprofit organization, WeViva. Kristen and her husband Ian are glad to be raising their two children, Holden and Georgia, in their home town.
Andy joined Pease Park Conservancy in 2014 after working with The Trail Foundation. He graduated with two Bachelor's of Science degrees from the University of Wisconsin. Prior to moving to Austin in 2013, Andy was the Chief of Staff for a Wisconsin State Representative where he staffed both the Forestry and Natural Resources Committees.
